Close relative is getting married soon. Id love for my 2 yr old to do something with her hair--short curly hair. In all my attempts to put ponytails, bows or headbands in her hair she just pulls them out. She likes looking "pretty" but apparently has a sensitive scalp and doesnt tolerate anything. Any suggestions?

Mousse it lightly into nice ringlets. Have a clip on hand to slide in for pictures.
Have you tried the different types if hair elastics?
Soft or hard headbands?

I know, I did, the thing is I think SHE wants it but just doesn't find it comfortable. Would be nice if I could find something that would be gentle enough.

I bought those tiny little pony rubbers, and I make a small pony on each side and twist it in once the rubber is in. or I twist the hair first and hold it place with one of these teeny tiny clips.
Let me know if this is clear enough. It looks adorable once it's done and it's nothing for the child.
