Move this over from the Purim forum. It's under the wrong topic.
Then more people might see it.

Is it her first child? You could get a nice baby toy, maybe a 'university' - something she wouldn't necessarily splash out on herself.
If it's not her first, she probably has a lot of toys.
Then I would get a voucher for a baby store so that she can get what she needs.

how about a pacifier clip? I find them so helpful! these are the ones I got for my baby boy - I think they are nice and 'boyish' enough. Just make sure to get one without bow... HeartStringsClips.etsy.com

If this is her first child there are lots of things she can use. If it isn't, I've found that
1. toys that clip/velcro onto a carseat are used a lot
2. a soft, not too thick blanket. Blankets sometimes get 'pill-y' or not soft when they are from previous babies and have been used a lot. My best find has been from TJ Maxx on clearance for like $8 but looks much more expensive. oh so soft.

Plush stuffed animal (I got one as a gift from Nordstrom. My baby loves it.)
