We need to pick an elementary school for our daughter. She'll be going into first grade (we are in Israel, where the gan system is separate from grade school. But advice doesn't only need to be from people in Israel). What do we look for? How do we figure out how to prioritize which things are more important (because I assume no school will have everything)? Any other advice?

So much depends on your individual child. You can look at the social aspect. Is the school large or small? Some kids get lost in a crowd.
Academics-some schools are more rigorous and some are less.
Religious level- how frum you want it, which rules etc
In terms of priority you pick what's most important to you. If you value academic level or a school with more extracurricular and less focus on grades, etc. Pick what is most important to you or what your child needs most.
