For my mother's 50th, we contacted 50 of her friends (and friends from her youth) and relatives from all over the world. We had each person text or email a letter and then we copied the letters into a snapfish hardcover book. We put each letter with a pictures of the people in the background for whoever we had, and related pics (like a Baltimore sign or a pics of palm trees etc) for whoever we didn't. It was a lot of work but came out gorgeous and she loved it!
