I am hosting my family's chanukah party this year. Any ideas for fun, interactive games that would be enjoyable for kids in the age range of 5-13?

What do you use to hold the cards up on farheads if you have a lot of people?

you can get a pack of elastic headbands and just place over index cards in center around forehead, or even staple the index cards to the headbands

A fun game I have played by parties numerous times-
whoever is planning the game goes around the house or outside (doesn't matter) and takes close up pictures of things. Do as many as you want. They should be close up enough that it is not immediately obvious what it is, but easy enough that children can guess what it is.

Then you can either have it on a slideshow or printed out on a paper. Each picture should have a number to it. Then at the party each person gets a paper and the pictures are shown on a slideshow or as physical photos being held up, and each person has to write down his/her guess for what is being shown.
whoever gets most correct wins the game

Human bingo. This is great at family chanukah parties

write a list of things such as: oldest in the family, someone with blonde hair, a boy with glasses, a girl with curly hair, youngest in the family, a mommy holding a baby, an uncle with a beard, etc

Then make a bingo board, a few different versions, so that they are not all the same.
Then at the party each adult and child gets a bingo board, than everyone walks around finding a family member who matches that description. The family member 'signs' his or her name in that box.
Whoever gets a full board of 'signatures' first wins the game

Dreidel. (Too obvious?) They can play for nuts or pennies.

another idea I saw once was checkers using gold and silver chanuka gelt (regular checker board). If you have a lot of people can print paper checkerboards

We played a very good conducter game one year. The questions were like list 3 airports or list 5 musical instruments. We really enjoyed it. For kids u can do list 2 fruits or 4 school supplies etc.

We played memory with socks. Everyone had to bring a pair of colorful designed socks. THhe socka were put into a bag and passed around. Everyone chose two socks and put a it onto their hands, and hid under the table. Then everyone gets a turn asking two people to lift their hand... (ex. Chanys right hand and Sury’s left...) it’s different and a lot of fun!
