I have a M.Ed and I see that I can't continue like this. I need to find a more viable salary and we can't have me and my husband both teaching. My second interest was always medicine.
I am looking to find schooling ideas for something that won't be super long schooling.
I was thinking something along the lines of a sonographer or a radiology therapist or a some type of technician. Being a RN is a maybe.
My criteria:
- Something flexible that I can do at my own schedule I.e. some semesters like the summer I can pack in 3-4 classes but while teaching I want to do one at a time in the evenings.
-Something that won't cost more than $30,000
-Something there is a big job market for and won't be too hard to find a job
-something that pays more than $25 an hour.
I appreciate any ideas.

I don't know the details on schooling but two ideas to look into are Respiratory Therapist and Echo Technician. I think they both pay in the 50-60k range with an associate's degree. Also keep in mind that oftentimes healthcare jobs come with good benefits, which can be worth a significant amount more on top of your salary

Not healthcare, but would you consider BCBA? It fits most of your criteria
