My ten month old started having three naps a day again and its driving me crazy!
He gets tired between 7pm and 8pm sleeps for about an hour and a half and then wake up and stays up till 12 or 1 or even later.
The next day he wakes up between six thirty and seven, I get him ready for the babysitter he falls asleep either on the way out (around 8am) or at the babysitter, sleeps all morning (till around ten or elevn) naps for another hour between two and three or so and than again in the afternoon.
keeping him up till nine or ten didn't help - he just got up an hour after that and stayed up even later.
keeping him in a dark room and trying to get him back to sleep didn't work he was just wide awake playing around and laughing.
I want my nights back!
help?

you have to keep him engaged and busy so he doesn't fall asleep. if he falls asleep in the car you need to wake him up as soon as you get where you're going. Do you have other kids at home? are you able to make sure he's up and are you able to keep him busy or are you too busy? I say to try REALLY hard for at least a few days or as long as you can to keep him awake until "nap time" (around 9 am and 1pm are good times).
Hopefully his body will get used to it and adjust.
