I love being creative. And I have time now which I won't have then. I was thinking about the Purim money I will be giving my sons rebbi.

What do people do when they give, put in together with mm or hand give it?

Envelope is usually taped on the outside of the wrapping.

My husband says either. He thinks it’s nice to hand it directly, but really both are totally fine

lol I guess my husband teaches in the wrong type of school, he has NEVER in all his 20 years of teaching received money as a gift for Purim. Or ever for that matter. Giftcards yes, for chanukah or end of year gifts, but never for Purim. Sad

Is he a "Rebbe" or teacher?

A rebbi. With a masters in education.
But not in a typical yeshiva, its an MO school.

Purim money for teachers is not a thing at MO schools. But I understand that MO schools pay the teachers more.

LOL.
thats a common misconception. Smile
when I compare my husbands salary with that of my friends's husbands who work in yeshiva high schools (I know tons of rebbeim's wives...) then the salaries are extremely similar.
And then consider that they are getting free tuition for all of their sons and we are paying $25,000 (about 40percent of my husbands salary) to that same school.

no, it s definitely much better financially to work in a yeshiva rather than an MO school, at least it is where I live Smile
