I have some experience working at a hospital, but I took some time off being a stay at home mom. I'd love to go back working in a hospital, but my last job paid about $29,000 a year. What healthcare jobs pay more than $30,000 a year (NYC area)? I can't go back to school and study for 4 years again. If it's something I'd be interested in, I might consider associate degree for less than 2 years. I was looking into becoming an ultrasound technician, but does anyone know anything about it? do they require working weekends/nights? how are the job prospects? is it difficult for a new graduate to find a job as an ultrasound technician? I was also looking into a radiologist tech. Any other ideas? Thanks!
