I work in a job where I'm on my feet a lot of the day. If I don't wear supportive shoes with my orthotics, my feet kill after and during. I have bought a few pairs but can never find the perfect shoe. I want something that looks more professional as for my job I wear dressier clothes which then get ruined by a huge clunky running shoe. The pair I'm currently wearing is super comfortable but they happen to be a men's shoe passable as women's but they are clunky and I don't feel pretty at all in them. Whenever I go to the shoe store I have issues finding good shoes that fit my orthotics, or the insert is not removable normally so it's not worth the risk of trying then not being able to return it. Im scared of shoe shopping online BC it usually takes me a while to find the right fit as is, and doubt the perfect shoe would come to my door. I'm a size 10 w btw. If anyone has knowledge of a good brand/store to look for or any tips, that would be great! I live in Canada btw.

Propet shoes have removable insoles to accommodate orthotics. I have found they run a little short (measured from heel to toe).
ETA: Perhaps customer service at this store could help you find the right shoe before ordering: https://www.thewalkingcompany.com
ETA again: you can filter for "orthotic friendly" on Zappos.

Some brands you may want to try:
- Clarks
- Ecco
- Rockport
- Mephisto
- Dansko
- Naot
Ultimately, everyone's foot is different. Try things on.

Get nursing shoes (shoes for nurses). I don't remember specific brands, but they are made to for heavy on your feet work and are very comfortable and supportive, and look professional enough.

If you're willing to spend you can also get a custom orthotic meant for dress shoes in the sense that they are lower profile than a normal orthotic but still work very well. The material is called graphite which is really strong.

1803footwear very very comfortable https://1803footwear.com/marrakech
They come with a removable insole so you can put in your orthotics.
And the quality is also very good. Feet have been enjoying them.

I have very picky, wide feet and back problems. I have had great success with Clarks, Merrell, Softstars, and SAS.
