Note these are not Magna Tiles- they're Playmags. It's not outrageously cheap. I paid $100 for 240 pieces when they were on sale.

They're currently 87.99 at Toys4u.com .
And it has even more pieces (150 +18 )

Whenever I buy something on zulily I always google the item. It is usually not discounted!

Oh wow I didn't even realize that they're not real Magna Tiles. Generally you can't find the real deal brand name for less than $1 a piece.

Im the OP, sorry I didn't mean to post as amother.

Cnc, you paid $100 for 240 pieces of magnatiles or playmags??

I know, right after I posted this I looked on Toys4u's website and saw that one for cheaper! I've also noticed that with Zulily-you can find their prices or very close on Amazon or Amazing Savings Very Happy

Gande-wow! That does look like a great deal! It looks like it's the same as the one from Toys4u just without the car piece.

So how do playmags compare to magnatiles?? Is it worth it to get?

I have playmags for my kids for a few years already, they love them and the quality is great!
I've seen the magna tiles as well , and I don't see a major difference between them

There definitely is a difference. We have both. My kids once tried building identical tall towers of each and the playmags collapsed quicker. This was a few years ago, maybe now they make them stronger (I see on the ad it says 'strongest magnets guaranteed').

Playmags - if you can afford it then go with the MagnaTiles.
