Bumping this up.
Looking for a dairy free easy recipe that doesn't need a handmixer- does this even exist?

1 1/2 cup pareve milk
6 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp (1/4 cup) yeast
4 cups flour
1 tsp salt
4 tsp oil
Place all ingredients into a gallon bag, seal, knead in bag, let rise for an hour, take out, shape, let rise again, fry
(P.S. place shaped donuts on parchment squares. Use the parchment to carry the donuts to the oil so they don't lose their shape. Drop it in w the parchment and use a pair of tongs to take the parchment out of the oil)

This looks amazing!
Thank you,!
I do plan to try this one but does anyone also have a no rise dairy free donut recipe for the kids who can't wait?
Also, how do I go about making donuts with pizza dough? Just make it into balls and fry?

I made this but it didn't have the same fluffy taste as a regular donut...
Is that supposed to happen with this recipe?

https://www.emmafontanella.com.....onuts (link corrected)
This one is super easy, literally 2 ingredients and drop them in oil, cook quickly. Made it with dd when she was 7 or 8. Like donut holes. We rolled them in sugar, cinnamon-sugar, chocolate, dipped in frosting, with jam, etc.
If you don't have a piping bag, just use a ziploc bag with corner tip cut off.

I make this with bagels and pizza!
Didn't you know you can fry to make donut holes...
Awesome.
Thank you!

Hmm I'm sorry to hear that, what do you mean by "fluffy taste?" Did you let it rise after shaping before frying?

Yep.
Regular donuts are more fluffy, while this was more dense. Not sure why as I thought I followed your recipe to the tee lol.

Did you mean fluffy texture? This recipe happens to be egg free, so maybe you'd like a recipe with egg? Egg can add airiness/structure (although I find this recipe fluffs up well for me)
Sorry it wasn't what you were looking for!
