I am looking for a broccoli quiche recipe to make for Shavuos. I would like to put it in a ready made pie shell. If anybody has a recipe please let me know. Thank you!

This is a recipe that I got from imamother. I wish I could give credit where credit is due, but I totally forgot who posted it! Maybe MISHIE??

I LOVE it as does anyone who tastes it. You can make it with any vegetable you like- I personally put in a california mix from bodek, but plain brocolli should be fine as well..

Vegetable Quiche

Line a pan with puff-pastry dough. Bake in hot oven for a couple of minutes. - I use pie shells.

For the filling:

Saute' on onion, some garlic and your favorite veggie: Broccoli, Mushrooms, Zucchini, Spinach.
Add: Salt, Pepper, Garlic-Powder, Onion-Powder, Parsley etc...

In a large bowl, mix:
1 Container Cottage-Cheese
1 Container Sour-Cream
4-5 Eggs

Mix together with the saute'd vegetables, and pour slowly over the baked crust.
Bake for 30-45 minutes. (until the center is set.)
Sprinkle grated cheese over the Quiche about 5 minutes before removing from the oven.

Enjoy!!

What size pan do you use? And how many pounds of frozen veggies do you use?

I get two pie shells from this recipe (never made it in a pan so not sure what that translates to).
I use the 1lb bag of frozen veggies and the l lb containers of the cheeses.
