Anyone here have any success with exchanging an item with another size AND color?
I need next size up, but color I ordered is OOS in that size. Customer service rep said I can't do that unless in-store, but wondering if perhaps she in particular was too busy/lazy etc.
Thanks.

They are very strict with their return policy so I assume what she told you was correct.

This is the reason I have stopped buying from Zara altogether. They refused to take back my daughter's dress that split open the very first time she wore it.

Odd. I've had good experiences with returns to Zara (I've done them in-store though not through mail).

You can return item completely and do a new order. It's as simple as doing the return process. You also start the 30 day return policy again. They never let return items without tags anymore. Even if used once. I recently bought a sweater with clear manufacturing damage and just returned stating it came faulty.
