Anyone have a simple, gluten free recipe for donuts that do NOT use oats?

Do they need to be fried? You can make cake donuts and bake them in the oven. I actually prefer them.
Just use your favorite gluten free cake recipe, and pour it into a donut pan (like a muffin tin, but with "holes").
Then mix up your favorite frostings, add sprinkles on top, and you're done!

You can buy Katz gluten free donuts. They are delicious, they even make custard ones.

Look at pennilessparenting.com, she has a new, easy looking recipe up. No gluten, eggs, dairy or sugar.
