I don't want to derail but we need to buy house. In our area, they are now 800-900 Sad

We make 170k have 4 kids with tuitons. I have savings plus gifts for down payment. I consider us super frugal and think we can do the 4000 mortgage payments. But this thread is scaring me off. If we really need, we will move to Cleveland or something but that would be restarting our lives and our very happy kids and moving away from family.
