I'd love all book recommendations, both secular( must be clean), and Jewish. Thanx.

Does she like adventure? Secret Seven and Famous Five - old British traditionals, but my kids, both boys and girls loved them. (author Enid Blyton).
Jewish book - That's me Tzviki Green by Chaim Valder. I've read it 6 times (each time one of my kids got it from the library.) It's better in the Hebrew original, in my opinion, but it SO speaks to kids.

So I am told that my YA book, Walled Secrets, is back in Judaica stores in time for Chanuka, and also a new book of short stories, Surprise! should be there, too. Both are age appropriate.

You wrote Walled Secrets? That's a terrific book! I borrowed a copy but couldn't find one to buy. I'll look for it again.

For secular, check out the secular booklist on chinuch.org.
Are you buying books? Getting them out of the library? I hesitate to bombard you with titles without knowing more about your daughter, the last book she read that she liked etc., but here are some suggestions off the cuff:
Chani Altein - Mimi in the Middle, The Pen of the Soul, other novels
Libby Lazewnik - story collections, Shira trilogy, Forever and a Day, Beginner's Luck. She's written books for an older audience, some of which would be age-appropriate if your daughter's read everything else
Chaim Eliav- The Spider's Web, The Mission, a few titles I don't remember now.
Esti Florans - Conquer the Darkness
Avner Gold - start with The Promised Child
Miriam Kosman - Family for a While, Stepping Stones
Gershon Kranzler - The Broken Bracelet
R. L Leader - Faithful Soldiers, another book I forgot
M. C. Millman
Henye Meyer - This is America, The Exile of Crocodile Island, Starlight
Miriam Walfish - The Stars will Guide You, Into the Fire, The Hunt (kind of like the Tova, Penina, etc. books but maybe for a slightly older audience)
Sara Tyberg - El Al Hold that Flight, Shaindy Strikes again
Bensoussan - A New Song
R' Meir Uri Gottesman
M. Jakubowicz - Carpool Clan series, Robot World, All Eyes on Mindy Eisen, The Secret Life of Devorah Leah Dubin Curtain Call, Secret of the Woods
Levitt - The Flight to Seven Swan Bay
Bracha Rosman
Tokatly - The Lost Children of Tarshish
Sackville - Legacy of Gold
Eva Vogiel
This is by no mean exhaustive. Gotta go.

The Forgotten Door. The Sign of The Beaver. I love both of those books, so gave to my son to read, and he enjoyed both.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
A few people sent me pictures of stacks of Walled Secrets in a couple of Judaica stores, so unless they were completely cleaned out by packs of roving fans ( ) there should still be some copies available.

Thanx for this list. I'm off to the library today, and wondering if you have any more to add?
