How often can I wash hardwood floor without ruining it and also which soaps would you recommend?

I wash once a week with Bona as per my installers recommendation. Looks like new

Thanks, thing is I like cleaning floors twice a week and really hope I’m not ruining them

I do bedrooms once a wk. Rest of house 3 times. I have small kids it gets dirty often. I use murphy but I gatta check out what bona is

Definitely don't use Murphy; it is really bad for the floor. If you want to see proof your self, go to houzz.com and go to the flooring forum and search for it. Bona (or Loba,but is much less common) is good but should be used minimally. Like a little sprayed on a dry dust mop and go over the floor with that. If there is more dirt to get up, then a little water with a little dish soap in it just to get up the dirt and dry well immediately.
