1-been having these flies in my apt. thought its fruit-flies but they seem bigger. I dont keep any food out on the counter. so dunno if they just like the sink? been seeing them in bathrooms well.
2- brown water coming from faucet when turn it on. I let it run till clear, but often will turn brown while filling up pot etc.
drinking only spring water, but cant cook or bathe in sw (never mind the expense when drinking...)
Any ideas to get rid of flies or what to do re water?

sounds like you have a sewage problem and/or a water line disturbance such as water pressure or could be an old water heater ...
but because you are seeing flies I'm wondering if there is a sewer back-up somewhere ...
are you renting because this is something the landlord should take care of asap
