I'm not in the U.S. but in Israel I buy a lot online (particularly maternity wear is worth buying online as here it's crazy expensive and not good quality).
Maybe some of the americans here can advise you which shops are worth looking into. You'd be surprised how cheap you can find a maternity gown for

Firstly try your local gemach.
Secondly you can find online but prob need to alter or add to it to make it tzniuos.

Yup. I live in Brooklyn (since you mentioned OOT) and I just wore a 100% tznius maternity gown from asos last week for my stepson's bar mitzvah. No alterations except hemming needed, and a great price, too.
