Add finely chopped onions, some fresh ground garlic, an egg or 2 and spices.

Don't use flour. Do you have challah, bread, cornflake crumbs, oatmeal? If you don't need soft meatballs just skip the eggs and breadcrumbs.

U can soak bread/challa in water & add that.
Otherwise, u can skip the breadcrumbs.

No, they're not fluffy and moist. There's what to chew. But kids do it easily. When ur making small ones in tomato paste mixture for meatballs and spaghetti, it's just perfect. But they are a bit al dente.
