Who should I speak to about my son to hear if it's normal?

I have a question about my six year old son and want to know if his behavior falls within the range of normal, any ideas of a chinuch person I can call?

You can get him evaluated maybe some OT can help if he has behavior issues but he missed the boat for CPSE so he won't get to much services.

It really depends on what the issue is. It can take months and months to get an appointment at a developmental pediatrician. It would make more sense to get a general idea if some thing is wrong from other parents or teachers of this age children. If others agree that there are red flags then she can make an appt. Or as someone else mentioned , run it by a regular pediatrician who will direct her further if warranted.

Eitzah May be able to tell her if her kid has an issue and recommend a specialist to evaluate him. They won't diagnose him on the spot!!

What type of question? Behavioral, educational, emotional, social? I would go to different people depending on the nature of the concern.
Pm me if you want the name of an experienced mechanech for that age.

I wouldn't rely on a pediatrician....
Ask a child psychologist
