I have an 8-qt fleishig one.
What size is best for milchigs: 6 or 8?
Parve?
Leaving price factor aside because I would be getting either size with discounts and prob a gift card.
Thanks!
Eta: basically, is it a good idea to get a 6-qt one, and if so for what? It's on a nice sale now.

I think it really depends on the size of your family, and your storage space. I have the 3 quart for dairy.

I also have the 3 qt for dairy but I dont make pasta or soup in it. I use it for grains, eggs, oatmeal, polenta, risotto. I have a 6 qt for meat and its perfect for a family of 5.

Im usually cooking for 8-10, so 8-at fleishig is perfect, I wouldn't go smaller than that.
3 would be too small even for milchigs for me.
My 3-qt regular pots are only big enough for things like farina, too small for pasta.
Debating btw 6 and 8 for milchigs, and thinking if 6 for parve is useful.

I got the 6 but had to send it back. Ordered it on Amazon and it arrived with a big dent! More and more stuff arriving from them has arrived damaged lately.
So, I gotta go out and find it in the stores.
