I've been giving my 14 month old son milk for 2 months.. He has been totally fine. The last 3 days, after I gave him a bottle he three up. Does this mean he is maybe sensitive to milk? Or maybe just generally his stomach is hurting him thus week.
I'm going to Dr today... Just wanted to hear what you Think and your experiences tia

It wouldn't hurt to take him off of dairy for a while and see what happens. Fortified rice milk is what I gave DD at that age. No yogurt or cheese, etc.

Sometimes kids outgrow lactose sensitivity. DD outgrew hers around age 9. Some people are born with genes that do not produce the enzyme needed to break down lactose, and they will always be sensitive.

That doesn't mean it's an allergy, but it does mean that it's an irritant that can cause inflammation, crankiness, and all around misery.

I could always tell when DD had been sneaking dairy at a friend's house, because she was a horrible monster for the rest of the day. It changed her mood completely. When she was off of it she was a real sweetie.

If he's been fine up until now, I wouldn't take him off dairy, they really do need it.

It could be he has a mild virus or something. Talk to your doctor and see what they recommend.
