Do you dry your children's clothing in the dryer?
I do. I'm not hang drying their tiny clothing, and I find it gets stiff if I do.
But they shrink terribly! Is that just par for the course?

Yes they do shrink and you need to factor that in when purchasing if you machine dry.
I hang or flat dry mostly.
PJ's and undershirts go in the dryer and we take that into consideration when purchasing PJ sizes.

If you put clothing in the dryer, you should expect them to shrink. I only put underwear & pjs in the dryer. The dryer also makes clothing look worn out.

I don’t find they shrink but I’m very careful to wash everything on cold. Pure white loads get washed in warm, everything else cold and nothing shrinks
