Do you as an adult female dress up on Purim?

Do you wear a full costume or just funky accessories?

Does location and neighborhoods play a role??

Me and dh always dress up as famous fictional couples. Sometimes the kids join in on the theme, sometimes not. It's a bit unusual in our community, but not taboo and we don't care anyway. Purim simcha isn't just for kids!

We have friends that dress as a Yerushalmi couple. He has a shtreimel, gold bekishe and tucks his pants into his socks. I think she just does a tichel over a fake shpitzle.

I thought it was a very cute idea for women that don't want to stand out too much, to dress as another culture's frum women dress. Of course now we know that could include many different communities' standards.

I dress up with an accessory to match my theme. Very few to woman or older girls do. I do out because the kids get so delighted

I wear accessories to match the family theme. I don't dress fully because it's too much of a hassle plus I don't need my kids teachers to see me that way....

I don't, but if I did, I would dress in a period costume, or something very princessy (or like a queen.) Or, some sort of fairy tale character.

I knew two friends of a similar build who switched sheitels and clothes. They also switched seats in Shul for Megillah.

I dressed up as a chef.

Now I just wear shabbos clothes. If I could get ahold of a long formal skirt, I’d wear that. With my petticoat.

My husband and kids don’t like dressing up (who ever heard of kids not dressing up? They’re 5 and 8, way too young to think it’s babyish...) so I davka make sure to dress up and show Purim Spirit in the hopes that one day they’ll deign to join me...

Before kids, for sure. Now more of my energy goes into planning costumes for them; dh and I will maybe wear some type of accessory or hat to fit the theme.

I dress up in a full costume and it varies year to year by theme. Last year was the '80s - tacky and fun.

I did this once. I rented a huge dress with the big hoop skirts and it was really really fun.

I don't, but nothing to do with being a woman or an adult. I've never like dressing up - haven't done it since I was about 14.
