There are so many variables! The pay difference between 3 and 4 shifts a week is huge, are the shifts 8 or 12 hour, is there a night differential, etc etc... not to mention that salary varies widely based on location

For 3 twelve hour shifts you would get paid around $40-$45 an hour then if you add night differential it can be more. This is in a NYC hospital not in the suburbs.

Wow thats alot! To op a full time job for an rn is three 12 hour shifts. Average salary around here in midwest area is 30$/hr if you pick ip an extra shift that time and a half so 45$/hr. In NY its a lot more. I would estimate that an rn starting salary over there be about 75k. Just guessing. Here its about 55k.

I am in Chicago and I work as a recruiter for nurses. Starting salaries are usually in the 60's and go up from there.

Nurses are rarely salaried, but generally are paid hourly.
If you're a nurse, you might be interested in a frum nurses conference coming up on May 10.
