I've been hearing alot about this segulah where you light a candle every day for 40 days l'iluei nishmas r' menachem mendl of riminov. I have some questions for those who are familiar.
1. I don't have a certain pressing issue that I want to have in mind just to improve an existing issue-is that ok?
2. is there anything you have to say when lighting the candle?
3. does it have to be lit about the same time every day?
4. is it all right to light a travel candle?
5. what happens on shabbos?
I really appreciate if anyone can educate me on this segula.
also if anyone has success stories I would love to hear them.
