Hi --

Any ideas on where to find tznius business suits in size 26?

I'm finding business casual things online, but no real business suits.

Hm.

I looked at most of those options and I'm still not finding business suits qua business suits. And now I have an additional complication -- I need maternity tznius business suits in size 26.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thank you!

what about buying plain skirts from good places you like, such as talbot's or lands end, in navy and black, and khaki, and looking for flowered or otherwise mix and match blazers from mail order places?

Three problems:
1. Talbots and Lands' End really only go to 24, not 26.
2. Neither of them or really many other stores has maternity in large sizes
3. I need a couple of real business suits. I generally do the skirt-top mix and match, but I'm a lawyer -- I need a court suit and a couple of meeting with clients suits.

Thank you for the suggestion, though!

DovDov, what about getting those sizes and having them altered for you? Do you think your size will change that much during pregnancy? You will prob. have to have clothes made for you, otherwise. Elastic waist with a maternity panel, hopefully hidden by the jacket.

I will probably have to have a couple of pieces made for me.

In case anyone is in the same boat, onestopplus.com does have some large size maternity that works.

Bloomingdales has large sizes in the basement, very nice stuff, but obviously $$$. You could also try J. Jill.

Mazel tov.

Lane Bryant has maternity up to size 28. They have what they call *suiting separates* which could work for you. Also try ebay. Lots of people try to unload their maternity stuff there.

I also recommend Silhouettes. They have a catalog and web site. They don't offer maternity clothes, but they do have some nice suits in sizes up to 32. I like the fact that I can order the skirt and jacket in different sizes.
