My only problem with them was that on the stopover in CDG I was the only non-Muslim person in the entire airport, or so it seemed. I felt very conspicuous.

we are thinkin about doing a manchester to newyork flight storping on paris.
we could get a direct but this one is £200 cheaper (all together) . im not sure if its worth it though traveling with 2 kids under 2 .
the stop over is only 50 min though...
not sure what do you think?

Just be aware that when you have a stopover airlines are good at losing your luggage. So don't check in anything you need straight away. (eg wedding/simcha clothes) Especially with only 50 minutes in between, I would say that is pretty much guaranteed.

My husband took air france to ny once, with the paris stopover. First they cancelled the flight from our city to paris, so he missed the ny flight and had to stay overnight in paris. Then on the way back at least, his luggage was lost. We got it eventually, but there was perishable stuff in there which we had to throw out. Never again, he says!
