if a "luxery ' can make life easier, then it is not a luxery anymore. its a neccesity.

I recently had this dilema. Do I NEED a cell phone? Do I NEED DSL? No I can definetly live w/o it but it is s/t that makes life easier. So is it a nessesity or a luxury?

many of the luxuries that I have allow me to spend more time with my daughter. working full time and going to school, my time with her is extremely limited. therefore these luxuries, while not necessary to live, are necessities because they are important to my daughter's well being and my family life.

That's not true. It's not a necessity to have an easy life. Having a live-in maid makes life easier, but that doesn't make it a necessity.
