CHOCOLATE CRUMB CAKE
from another site
1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the package directions to prepare the cake) OR your favorite chocolate cake recipe
FOR TOPPING:
3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 sticks melted margrine or oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. cocoa powder
Prepare cake and pour into greased and floured 10 x 15 inch pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes (or until done).
While cake is cooking, combine topping ingredients in a large bowl and mix until large crumbs form. Place crumb mixture evenly over hot cake and return to oven for 10 more minutes.
Remove cake from oven and cool. Sprinkle liberally with confectioners' sugar. (If you like a lot of crumbs, you may double the topping and bake an extra 5 minutes.)
