Please daven for Shlomo Naftali ben Gila, one of the students wounded in the Mercaz HaRav shootings, whose condition is drastically worsening.

I received an email that said the name shlomo was NOT added on, and that his condition isn't as bad as indicated.

does anyone know?

I don't know. I cut and pasted it word for word from a shul's urgent email message from the rav. He's usually pretty up to date on these things; one of his congregants met with the wounded boys.

Below is an update we received about Naftail ben Gila Rachel.

(As an aside, my nephew just visited him - this is his dorm mate - and Naftali is improving since the last setback)

There are many conflicting reports and emails being sent on Naftali.

This is making his family very upset.

Here is the latest update on Naftali ben Gila Rachel from his family:

Naftali suffered a minor stroke last Shabbos [parshat Tazreeah], B"H he came out of it and is talking etc..

His condition is not any worse and he is B"H slowly recovering.

They did NOT add on any name - not Shlomo and not anything else.

His family is very appreciative of all the tefillot and tehillim for Naftali.

Please continue davening and saying tehillim for Naftali ben Gila Rachel.

May he and all the cholim have a refuah shelaima.

Naftali Sheetrit did NOT have a stroke, and his name has NOT been
changed.
