Does anyone have a good recipe for challah that doesn't have lots of sugar or honey it? I used to make wonderful challah but it had lots of sugar. My husband, however, can't eat sugar or honey, or lots of fat, or egg yolks. Can splenda be used as a substitute, perhaps?

Why not substitue your recipe w/h less sugar thats what I do all the time w/h soo many recipes and it's still edible..... well more then that if u know what I mean Tongue Out

I use whole wheat flour and splenda. My husband loves it.

When using Splenda, is it used in the same amount as the recipe calls for sugar?

yup sugar is atleast natural poisen, splenda is chemical one and can cause worse problems in the long run just google it and see.
