It's kind of my family tradition to watch sad Holocaust movies on 9 Av. I know that Tisha b'av is about the destruction of the temple, but it's also become a general day of Jewish mourning for all the hardships we befell. Do you think it's assur for me to do these types of activities? I would be sitting on the floor....

I think many camps do that, but maybe for younger kids. All I know is, if it makes you depressed it's in keeping with the day. Ask your Rav.
