My year old is suddenly sleeping much more. Taking 2 really long naps during the day when before he was taking one shorter one. He isnt doing any more specifically tiring things during the day. He's sleeping about the same amount at night. And as far as I know, he's not sick.
What would make a kid suddenly sleep more like that?

ok, why did I post this anon? that was weird. How do I know if its a growth spurt? is 12 mos the avg time for a growth spurt? and if he was on a growth spurt, wouldnt he be eating more? if anything, he's eating less...

3 months, 6 months, 12 months and then between 15 and 18 months are the first two year major growth spurts AFAIK.
Also, get ready for the one year old molars to start slowly coming in.
