I just realized that the formula I recently bought for my 8 month old baby is stage 1 meaning it is meant for 0-6 months. I use the formula to supplement about 2 bottles a day and the rest is either breastmilk or solids. Should I get rid of it and get stage 2 or is it basicly the same thing?

I really really wouldn't worry. The makeup is slightly different - for example the stage 2 has slightly more iron than the stage 1, but it's only a couple of bottles of day.
Use up the can you've opened - it's too expensive to throw out Wink

The same thing happened to me. The store actually said they'd let me exchange it if I had the reciept which I didn't. I wanted to call the company to ask them but I didn't get around to it, so for now its sitting in the cabinet.

I also think the calorie and fat content is slightly less?
