I had a whole bunch of kale, chard, and broccoli from our CSA but too little to make a side dish out of any of them separately so I made a mixed-greens kugel.
I steamed the broccoli untill slightly mushy, then mixed it with the raw choppped chard and and kale, added 2 eggs, salt, pepper, and a clove of chopped garlic. and some olive oil, and baked at 350 untill it looked done and "kugely"
it was fantastic!

chard is a little bit like beet greens- it comes in red and white and orange stemmed varieties and its full of veggie goodness. some people use it for a segula on rosh hashana instead of beets or spinach. its also called swiss chard or silverbeet.
