Do you know (or know of) any in the Jewish world? You know, people that are big baalei tzedaka, or who have made a name for themselves, but did not change their relationship with Hashem...
The reason I ask is that I was having a disagreement with someone who said people who have money or people hit it big they lose their connection with yiddishkeit. I disagree, but then I don't know anyone like that.
I know I have to be right. I am an optimist. Someone prove me right.

I don't know about changing their relationship with hashem, but my dh has a cousin who is b"h very wealthy and baal tzedaka and as far as I know just as frum as he was before he became wealthy.
