Just wondering... How many shelves (not book cases, actual shelves) of books do you own? How many are sifrei kodesh? How many sifrei chol?

Bookshelves--6 6-foot bookcases, plus several boxes, plus a bunch of piles, plus on 3-fott bookcase full of library books.

1 bookcase is Jewish stuff-Hebrew workboosk, siddurim, sefarim, etc.

we always have a few more books then bookshelves.

we have about 7 bookshelves filled with mainly sefarim and jewish interest books, with a few secular books, including a huge atlas that fits nowhere.

And 2 bookshelves in the kids rooms filled with books - jewish and not jewish.

plus more books in my bedroom (pregnancy books etc) on a shelf at the top of my wardrobe.

I have too many books and waaaay not enough bookshelves. No actual bookcases (I'm only married to a man who used to design and sell furniture. But don't get me started...)

We have a wall of bookcases in our Living/Dining room, just for seforim. It is 24 feet long and 6 shelves high. We always run out of room so we often double the small sefarim. In addition, each of our three boys have one bookcase for Sefarim in their bedrooms. We also have two bookcase for mixed Sefarim & secular books.
