22 month old Ds has NONE.

He'll focus on ONE toy for 15 minutes at most, but if something doesn't go his way, he flings it across the room and cries because for example, the legos didn't fit together....

When I take him to mommy and me and we sit at circle time, well, he doesn't sit. (I can't even imagine what he's like in school, although he's definately one of the kids who require more attention)

Are there any games I can play with him, or ways I can teach him to relax and just sit still? I mean, I kniow it's normal for toddlers to be like this, but is there a way I can teach him to be patient?

With Dd, she just needed a quick explanation, and she'd get it. But she's not like most kids... I'm at a loss here...

Can she count?
I always tell my kids to count to ten, and they learn to wait that long. And then another ten, and another.

15 minutes is a long time for a 22 month old to focus on only one toy.

the way to teach a child patience is if us as the parents have patience. kids learn from the adults in thier lives from the way we act to see how they should act. but as far as helping it, a timer for very shor, like ten seconds and then it beeps is a good way to help them wait for something..
