I would like recomendations for pediatricians in Brooklyn(specially sheepshead bay area) that are more to natural things. And that are warm ppl, I`m not american and one thing that is being reaaly hard to adjust is the doctors, they are so different from what I am used, so now that I`m having my 1st baby, I would like to find a pediatrician that I would feel confortable(bc with my doctors I still don`t feel comfortable). I`m not 100% natural, but I want someone who would try to give less medication and more care Very Happy
Thanks

Natalya Kofman, MD
2166 East 18th Street
Brooklyn, NY 11229
718-376-1325

I finally found this gem of a doctor after several awful experiences.

The office staff is very friendly and totally in love with kids. The receptionists chat with the mothers like friends. The doctor is also warm, caring and gentle with the kids. She is very flexible with vaccines and is totally fine with me not starting till my baby is 2 years old.
She is also not into medicating all problems away. For example, she suggested a chamomile bath to ease baby's rash instead of prescribing medicated creams.

I've been looking for someone like that myself for a long time!

I called and asked and she doesn`t take plain medicaid, but if u have a health insurance with medicaid(like I have HIP medicaid) it`s ok.

most of the doc don`t accept medicaid....u have to choose another insurance and medicaid(or I don`t know who) will pay for u....it`s for free...so u call medicaid and choose a plan
