Definitely.

A hat fall cannot be worn with a band (maybe only a very thick one) because the whole top basically doesn't have hair.

A band fall has hair and is meant to be worn a few inches from the edge of the scalp and a band put in that space.

If you want something more versatile, go for the band fall. You can wear it with bands AND hats. A hat fall you can only wear with hats.

I agree. I have a band fall & can wear bands & hats. Sometimes I wear both - a hat so I;m warm outside but I have the band on underneath so I can take the hat off inside,.

I have a band fall, but if I try to wear a hat with it, it doesn't really fit because the wig makes my head HUGE. I guess that's why the hat falls don't have hair on the top? What's on the top? Just a net or something? Are there clips? I'm having trouble picturing it.

Yes, it's basically a net on top and a hair only on the sides.

the hat fall gets hat hair. once you wear a hat on it you have to get it washed and set again.

Did you mean the band fall? How could it get hat hair if there is no hair on top?

whoops. yeah, I meant the band fall. It gets hat hair. and it's intensely annoying when it does.

I'm really the last person to buy anything in a jewish store, but when I wanted a nice hat to fit over my bandfall, I had no problems finding one on avenue j. and hey, at 50% off, it was almost a normal price!

if I had a choice I'd go for the bandfall, but I like the versatility.
