Just wondering... I am making potato borekas for shbs.. I boiled and mashed the potatoes last night, seasoned them, and will saute onions and mushrooms today to add to the mixture.
1. Do I have to wait for the filling to be completely cool before putting it in the dough?
2. Do I have to add a beaten egg to the mixture before spooning it onto the dough? If so, how many eggs? I am worried it will taste like an omelet after its baked!!!
3. Can I put the borekas in the oven at the same time as any of the following... fish (covered), chicken (covered), or brownies?
Thanks!!

I would recommend that the filling is cool so it doesn't break the delicate boureka dough.
you do not have to add a beaten egg.
I am not sure whether question #3 is referring to kashrus or culinary, but you can put them in with anything. (al pi culinary...lol)
