can anyone recomend a good stroller for a preemie? she is just under 4 pounds now and should be a little over 5 when we can bring her home. also we are in Israel so if anyone knows what is available here.
I had wanted the city mini before, but it just looks soooo big for her right now.
thanks

I had 2 preemies also at that weight and ANY stroller will look big for them but they grow quickly, believe it or not. Just use the newborn pad insert in whichever stroller you buy. I have the City Mini and I love it. Maybe borrow a carriage type stroller for a few months, if you can. Gemachim might lend them out.

How about wearing her? She's light so it'll be easy and it'll be soooo good for her!

I had a Mountain Buggy for my 5 lb baby. We had the bassinet in for the first couple of months. I don't think I installed the seat until she was 5 or 6 months.

My other 2 were 6 lbs & I did the same thing for them.

I would make sure that whatever stroller you get reclines fully. That would be a BIGGIE for me, especially with preemies.
Not every preemie passes the oxygen test to come home in carseats and need special carbeds to lie flat. (I'm not sure if they do this test in Israel.) The danger of an occluded airway scares me too much to risk putting a baby not flat if it's possible to get something that is 100% flat.
