If you can post a good recipe that doesn't call for eggs, I might be able to do it.

I have a fantastic challah recipe that doesn't call for eggs. it's so easy and I've gotten a lot of ppl hooked to using only this recipe.

16 c. white flour (or 12 c. white, 4 c. whole wheat- tried this too and is just as good!)
1 2/3 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
5 tbsp. Fleishman's rapid rise dry yeast (equivalent to 9 squares)
5 c. very warm water
1 c. oil

Preheat oven to 375. Mix 8 c. of flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Pour in water and mix well. (I keep the yeast on top of the rest of the ingredients so when I pour the water over, I can make sure it starts bubbling and then I know my yeast isn't dead.) Add the rest of the flour and the oil. Mix until elastic. Let it rise for 1 hr or until doubles in size. Shape dough as desired. Place on greased cookie sheet (or I like to use the challah pans). Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bottoms are golden brown.

I know someone who makes this recipe and adds lots of cool things to it. She'll put things like chocolate chips in the braids and serves it hot on Friday night. It's absolutely incredible!!
