romaine too, but I haven't had it in so long because of the problem with the bugs. was that issue resolved?

Romaine.
And the best ans least expensive and less problematic way of buying the lettuce, is by checking it yourself!!!

I like the taste of green leaf best but I find romaine is a little easier to check.
