Technical q- I have a new challah recipe I want to try and it calls for three packages of dry yeast. I live in Israel and am wondering if the packages here contain the same amount of yeast. Here, a standard package contains 50g (a little less than 2 oz.) Anyone know how much is in a standard US package? Thanks in advance

7 grams--1/4 oz--2 1/4 tsp.
Hope this helps! Enjoy the baking.

In Israel, for every kilo flour, use 1 cube fresh yeast or 2 Tbs. dry yeast.
