My 7 month old had hives for the second time last night (1/30/10) the other time she had hives was a month ago 1/1/10.

Both times she got hives we were at the same friends house, and both time she had pairs mixed with a multi-grain cereal

BUT she has been to the friends house at other times and had pears mixed with multi-grain cereal at other times with no problems.

My friend does not have pets, so it cant be that. We have 2 cats.

Any ideas?

Was it just a coincidence?

yes, they did. When she woke at 10 for a 'snack' she was bumpy in the red patches, including on her face shock

Wow. Thanks. She's been here without hives. That doesn't make sense.

what clothes was she wearing? what detergent did you use to wash it?
strep can cause hives, also stress.... I had reactions to the air freshener in certain places too.
