My crazy landlord whom my family and friends warned me about when I first took the apartment were correct in their view that the landlord and lady are indeed total nuts. They just told me they're raising over $100/mo. (And this is even before our 1yr lease is gonna be up in 15 days). Anyways they were mean enough that I just have absolutely no interest in trying to negotiate and need an apartment asap.
If anyone knows of a 2 bedroom apt normally priced in Flatbush WITH NORMAL FRIENDLY LANDLORDS who will appreciate good tenants, please pm me. Thanks a bunch!!!!

Hi, how much are you looking to spend? What areas of Flatbush are you looking to live in? We might be moving out of our 2 bdrm apt in the next month or two.
